ISOG and Cequence Security Held an Insightful Technical Breakfast Thursday (TBT) Session
The Information Security Officers Group (ISOG), in collaboration with Cequence Security, successfully held another insightful Technical Breakfast Thursday (TBT) session last May 29, 2025, at the Old Swiss Inn Restaurant, Somerset Olympia, Makati City.
The session, titled “Securing APIs in the Age of Agentic AI: A Cybersecurity Briefing for Digital Leaders,” brought together cybersecurity professionals and digital leaders to explore strategies for strengthening organizational API security amid the rise of Agentic AI and automation.
Mr. Alex Burmeister, APJ Technology Consultant at Cequence Security, served as the resource speaker, sharing valuable insights on how enterprises can identify, assess, and defend their APIs against modern cyber threats. His presentation highlighted real-world cases, best practices, and innovative defense frameworks designed to enhance API resilience in evolving digital ecosystems.
Adding depth to the discussion, Dr. Rocky Lee, Global Innovation Advisor, joined as the guest speaker, presenting a talk on “Financial Innovation: Opportunities & Challenges Ahead.” He discussed the intersection of technological advancement and financial innovation, emphasizing both the opportunities and risks faced by organizations in today’s fast-changing landscape.
